7th GCC
7th Grand Council Convention
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Thursday-Friday, November 24-25, 1904
Hosted By: Eta
Convention Summary
Attendance at this meeting continued to be low, as there was only four chapters in the fraternity at the time of the meeting. This was the last Grand Council Convention held before the adoption of the Constitution of Kappa Psi, which had far reaching effects on the Fraternity and these conventions.
This was a two-day meeting and important business included authorizing the initial publication of The Mask, which helped to unite the members of the Fraternity more closely. The able leadership and devotion of F. Harvey Smith, Preston W. Eldridge, Jr., Josiah S. Bowen, Lewis Oakley, Frederic W. Rugg, Henry Goeckel, George Holstein, along with a few others, carried the Fraternity forward during these first few formative conventions for the Fraternity.
